Cromer Carnival parade is held on the third Wednesday of August every year, although the celebrations start at least 2 weeks beforehand!

On Carnival day, there’s a large outdoor arena with scheduled events all day, such as dog shows, stunt horse riders, motorbikes and bmx riders! 🚴‍♀️🏍🐎🎠 Plus lots of fairground rides, games, a variety of food stalls, a beer tent and stalls selling toys, sculptures and nicknacks.

The admission price to the field is £8 per adult and £6 per child, which goes into the Carnival fund for next year, and then rides/games are around £3.00/£4.50 per go. (It is however, free to get onto the field the following evening). The field will be open until midnight due to the events being held in the marquee all evening.

Carnival Parade starts at the field at 7pm, meanders around the town and returns to the carnival field on Runton Road.

The following day another parade is held – the Illuminated Parade begins around 8pm. This finishes at the carnival field and is followed by an impressive fireworks display and an evening of carnival rides and entertainment in the marquee. Who would want to be anywhere else?
