The Boxing Day Dip! Brrrr….

The Boxing Day Dip is an extraordinary sight and is an annual event where hundreds of brave folks dress in fancy dress (some for charity) and run into the freezing cold in the sea on Boxing Day! Brrrrrrrr! Crowds gather all along the seafront to watch and the event is really popular so we advise you get there early to get a good viewing spot! If you’re thinking about taking part, be sure to bring warm clothing to put on afterwards. And for the runners among you, the North Norfolk Beach Runners hold a 10k fun run to warm up, immediately before the dip, starting by the Pier. If you’re in Cromer on Boxing Day it’s worth popping down to the seafront to take in this spectacle.
