Holt Country Park is a beautiful spot not far from Cromer. It’s a mixture of woodland and open space with vast areas of wild flower, gorse and holly. We walked for a couple of hours on the smaller tracks and barely saw another person. Admittedly we were geocaching (we will make a separate post about this!) so were often rambling through less troden areas, but everywhere we went was beautiful! The park has good facilities like cafe and toilets and a small car park which charges £2.30 for all day parking 🙂. Lovely.

To get the best of both worlds, you can stay at No4 Cromer Bed & Breakfast. There, you will have the beach on your doorstep and also have the opportunity to visit surrounding towns and villages. Cromer is a fantastic bse for exploring the North Norfolkk Coast.
